Formed in 1996, the Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network (HAPNN) is a local membership, professional organization for advanced practice healthcare providers of all specialities.  With over 60 individual members, HAPNN provides networking opportunities and educational meetings for the Southeast Missouri region.  HAPNN has steadily expanded its services and priorities over the last few years providing scholarships to advanced practice nurses in the amount of over $1000.   HAPNN has also contributed to the community in donations to local hospitals to contribute towards nursing excellence.
